自2002年以来，长期从事肝癌的临床一线工作，熟练掌握肝癌的手术切除、介入治疗，局部消融治疗、靶向治疗等多学科综合治疗手段。特别是在早期肝癌的微创治疗和综合治疗方面具有丰富的临床经验。参与课题“小肝癌经皮射频微创治疗的临床研究”获得2007年广东省科技进步奖二等奖，2009年中国抗癌协会科技奖二等奖，“提高肝癌治疗效果的系列研究”2009年获得中华医学科技奖三等奖。曾作为课题组主要成员参与了国家自然科学基金、国家科技攻关计划、教育部博士点新教师基金、广州市科技计划项目等资助项目的研究，并作为课题负责人获得广东省医学科研基金资助。近3年共发表SCI论文20余篇。
